I’d always considered myself a prose writer, until one fall afternoon in 2016. I went for a walk in the hills on a late autumn afternoon, and I came back home buzzing with the ghosts of the turning leaf, the colors, and the mystery – prose couldn’t capture that for me. Although in time I might expand this site to include other types of my work, I want to start with poems that share the essence of me and my evolving self over time. I hope in these words you find something of yourself, too – something relatable and familiar and warm. I consider feedback seriously, so do leave a comment if a specific poem touches you or you have a technical note about poetry writing for me, or contact me on the Contact page. Enjoy.
